TERMS OF SERVICE

Clear terms for working together.

These terms apply to your use of the Techish website, the Techish library and the technology coaching and support services we provide. These services are provided by Techish Technology and Digital Literacy Coaching LLC (“Techish,” “we,” “us”), a North Carolina limited liability company in Charlotte, North Carolina, managed by its parent company, Davis Family Technology Holdings LLC. By using the site or our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Our services

Techish provides technology education, coaching, device and software setup, troubleshooting, and digital safety guidance for individuals, students, professionals and small businesses, in person in the Charlotte area or remotely. Our digital safety services are educational and preventive. They are not emergency fraud response, legal advice, financial advice, or a guarantee that a device, account or network is secure.

2. Requests, quotes and scheduling

Submitting a request or booking form does not reserve an appointment or create an obligation to pay. We will contact you to confirm the scope of work, price, location and time before any work begins. Any cancellation or rescheduling terms will be confirmed with you when your session is scheduled. In-person services depend on availability and location.

3. Pricing and payment

Prices shown on the site are starting prices. The final price depends on the scope we agree with you before work begins. If we accept payment online, it is processed by Stripe and subject to Stripe’s terms. Interest-list services such as ongoing support plans are not yet available for purchase, and joining the list does not create a charge.

4. Your responsibilities

5. Working with your devices and accounts

We ask before touching a device, changing settings, signing in or moving data, and we explain what we are doing. We do not keep your passwords or copies of your personal files. Technology can fail in ways no one predicts, so we cannot guarantee that a problem can be fixed or that data can be recovered.

6. AI tools and third-party products

We teach and set up products made by other companies, including AI assistants, software, smart home devices and online services. Those products are governed by their makers’ terms and privacy policies. AI tools can produce inaccurate or incomplete information, so review AI output before relying on it, especially for health, legal, financial, academic or business decisions. Students are responsible for following their school’s academic integrity and AI policies.

7. The library and outside links

The Techish library links to articles and videos owned by other publishers. The summaries are written by Techish for convenience, and the original publisher’s content, terms and privacy policy apply when you open a link. We choose sources carefully but are not responsible for outside content, which can change or be removed.

8. Library accounts

You can sign in with an email link to save, favorite and organize library items. Keep access to your email secure. We may suspend accounts used to abuse the site. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.

9. Using this website

Please do not misuse the site, including by attempting to access staff tools or other people’s information, interfering with its operation, submitting spam or automated requests, or using it for anything unlawful.

10. Intellectual property

The Techish name, logo, website design, guides and written content belong to Techish Technology and Digital Literacy Coaching LLC or its licensors. You may print or share our guides for personal, non-commercial learning with attribution. Photos and third-party content belong to their owners.

11. Disclaimers

The website and library are provided “as is.” We provide our services with care and skill, but to the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

12. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Techish is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including lost data, lost profits or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, unless the law requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it informally.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date. Changes do not affect services already agreed to. Questions? Email Ladariusdvs99@gmail.com or call 980-895-9733.
